The road version of the Scuderia Glickenhaus 007 will cost more than 2 million euros

Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus has the ambitious goal of creating a road-approved version of its 007 that will compete in the Le Mans Hypercar category. It will be named 007S.

Speaking to his Facebook community, James Glickenhaus revealed that the company will need to secure 24 orders to make the project viable, each car costing $ 2.3 million. If the company fails to guarantee these orders, customers who have paid a deposit will be refunded. The plan is to make the use of the hypercar homologated in the United States, and possibly also in Europe, the Middle East and Japan. It will be sold in a three-seater version with a central seat for the driver and will feature an aerodynamic package that meets LMH and road standards.

Glickenhaus hasn’t said which powertrain the road car will have, but it is aiming for 1,400 horsepower. That’s far more than the 670 horsepower extracted from the 3.5-liter twin-turbo V8 limited by the racing car regulations intended for the Le Mans Hypercar program. Take into account that the car will weigh only 1270 kg. Suffice to say that the performance will be serious.

A road version better than the one for the track?

All vehicles produced by Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus are competition-oriented. Thus, the 007S will come with everything needed to allow owners to easily fit racing wheels and tires to their car. In fact, the goal is for the car to be able to do 100 laps on a circuit and always be ready to drive home.

The 007S will be available in the United States through authorized SCG dealers and, if all goes as planned, deliveries will begin two years after receipt of any 24 orders.
